| I want to live on a cruise ship when I grow up. I don't want to work on it..I want to live there and have someone cook and clean for me and visit tropical places every other day or so.... | | |
| In the face of the election outcome last night and some of the hard feelings of people I feel like I need to send this list. I received this awhile okay but it seems very appropriate today... Top Ten Predictions no Matter Who Wins the Election 1. The Bible will still have all the answers 2. Prayer will still work 3. The Holy Spirit will still move. 4. God will still inhabit the praises of His people. 5. There will still be God-anoited preaching. 6. There will be singing of praises to God. 7. God will pour out His blessing on His people. 8. There will still be room at the cross. 9. Jesus will still love you. 10. Jesus will still save the lost when they come to Him... And GOD approves this message. | | |
| I realized I hadn't posted anything on my new job. Just for the record...I LOVE IT!!!!. I spent about 3 hours the other night just doing research on a lesson one of the teachers asked me to teach. And it was great. It didn't seem like I spent that long. I almost feel like I was always meant to do this it fits so well. I have gotten to talk to lots of the teachers, quite a few students and have begun building many relationships with both. I am so thankful for the opportunity I was given and I hope and pray I am doing the job that they want me to do. On another note, this weekend I met Dave in Louisville, KY. One of my camp counselors/good friend goes to school at the University of Louisville so we called her and told her we were coming and would love to take her to lunch. We found out another camp counselor/friend was visiting her so we got to spend the afternoon with both of them. We laughed and had so much fun. It was great to see them and have fun in a different setting. I am so proud of these kids. Have a great week. | | |
| When I got my new job last week my husband sent me a half dozen roses saying "Congratulations" and told me he thought I might need something to decorate my new office. I informed him Monday that I had to throw them away because they finally died over the weekend. Today was a crazy day and when I finally got to sit down for my 15 minute lunch I heard my name on the walkie-talkie asking where I was. When I said in my office the clerk told me I needed to come and see what she had just gotten. I stepped out of my office and saw a dozen of the most beautiful peach roses sitting on her desk. I told her they were beautiful and was getting ready to ask was it her birthday/anniversary etc when she said "When the guy brought them in I asked were they for me?" and he said "Are you Debbie?" She said "I am now". LOL Anyway, the card said "I heard you were out of flowers". My husband is so wonderful...and all the girls at work are jealous. I let them enjoy them in the office today since I had classes all afternoon, but I sure do love that guy.
On another note, my missing cell phone has been found!!! Yippee! | | |
